Certified Medical Assistant Full Job Description Now Hiring:
OB/GYN Medical Assistant We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our growing OB/GYN practice. If you are passionate about women's health and enjoy working in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
Welcome and prepare patients for examinations and procedures. Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and patient information. Assist providers with gynecologic exams and office procedures. Collect and prepare laboratory specimens. Administer injections, medications, and vaccines as directed. Schedule appointments, coordinate referrals, and maintain accurate electronic medical records. Educate patients on medications, procedures, and follow-up care. Maintain clean, organized exam rooms and ensure compliance with infection control standards.
Qualifications:
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) preferred. Current BLS certification preferred. OB/GYN experience is a plus, but motivated candidates with medical assistant experience are encouraged to apply. Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. Strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
