This role involves providing exceptional patient care, assisting patients with passive and active therapy, and ensuring smooth administrative workflows within a fast-paced medical environment. The Medical Assistant will play a vital role in delivering quality healthcare services while maintaining compliance with medical standards and protocols.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday:
9:00 AM-12:00 PM & 2:00 PM-6:00
PM Saturday:
9:00 AM-12:00 PM Total clinic hours: 38-40 hours/week
Pay:
$17/hour , full-time Annual raise of 3-5% based on performance and clinic goals Responsibilities Prepare examination rooms and assist providers during patient examinations and procedures Assist patients with passive and active therapy Support documentation efforts using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, including ICD coding and updating patient records accurately Provide patient education on treatment plans Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of medical instruments and equipment in compliance with safety standards Collaborate effectively with other team members Skills Prior knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and pharmacology Proficiency with EHR systems and familiarity with ICD coding for documentation accuracy Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to diverse patient populations Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks Compensation & Benefits Hourly pay: $17/hour Annual performance-based raise: 3-5% Paid Time Off Supportive, team-oriented work environment
