Must be energetic and have strong analytical skills and ability to make sound judgments. Must have exceptional customer service and computer skills, and must be a team player. Must be able to adapt to new procedures. Must have at least 2 years of experience in healthcare. Qualifications and Skills Certification or license as a healthcare professional, Medical Assistant or Nurse Aide, required . Responsibilities and Duties Daily management of designated clinical job duties, including rooming patients for providers and completing medication prior authorizations. Uses effective communication in dealing with patients, guests, physicians and co-workers. Compiles and enters accurate data in the computer system and medical record. Performs routine duties in a positive and timely manner. Coordinates patient services with the office and other medical practices to assure patient satisfaction and quality care. Maintains a courteous and cooperative attitude when dealing with other departments and offices. Maintains good working relationships with co-workers and physicians. Significantly contributes to team work environment. Participates in special projects or performs other duties as assigned.
