Job Description

Pride Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant - OB/GYN to join our team in Goldsboro, NC 27534 . This is a 13-week contract with potential for extension .
Job Responsibilities:
Perform patient intake and rooming, including collection of vital signs, height, weight, and reason for visit. Obtain and document patient medical and social histories. Review current medications, allergies, and preferred pharmacy information. Assist providers during examinations, treatments, and procedures. Collect specimens and perform phlebotomy. Administer medications under provider direction. Perform diagnostic testing such as EKGs and vision screenings. Review patient records for routine health screening needs. Prepare and maintain exam and procedure rooms, ensuring supplies and equipment are readily available.
Required Qualifications:
Recent OB/GYN experience required. Minimum of 1 year of full-time experience as a Certified Medical Assistant. Current Medical Assistant Certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, NRCMA, or NCMA). Current BLS Certification through AHA or ARC.

Pay:
