Job description: We are hiring for several CMA positions in the Triad area! These positions are filling up fast so apply today for same day interviews Title

  • $17•$23 depending on experience Locations•Greensboro, Burlington, Winston Salem, High Point Fields of work•Pediatric, Adult, Internal Medicine, OBGYN, Allergy and Shot Clinic Duties Assist in patient intake by gathering medical histories and conducting preliminary assessments.
Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse. Administer medications as directed by physicians and ensure proper documentation. Prepare patients for examinations and assist healthcare providers during procedures. Perform basic life support (BLS) when necessary and maintain certification. Maintain accurate patient records using EHR systems, ensuring compliance with medical coding standards such as ICD coding. Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries and ensuring a comfortable environment. Support outpatient and inpatient care in various specialties including internal medicine, geriatrics, medical-surgical, emergency medicine, and pediatric intensive care unit (PICU). Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care plans effectively. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinical area while adhering to safety protocols. Requirements Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program. Experience in clinic settings or hospital environments preferred; familiarity with Level I or Level II trauma centers is a plus. Knowledge of dermatology practices, urgent care protocols, and emergency medicine procedures. Proficiency in medical administrative support tasks including scheduling appointments and managing patient records. Strong understanding of anatomy knowledge, physiology knowledge, and medical terminology. Ability to perform X-ray procedures if applicable; OR experience is advantageous. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and service excellence. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
