Job Description

Seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our family practice. As a CMA, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare providers with clinical and administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for examination by taking vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, weight, etc.). Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures. Administer medications and vaccinations as directed by the physician. Collect and prepare laboratory specimens and perform basic lab tests. Conduct electrocardiograms (EKGs) and other diagnostic tests. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records using our electronic health records (EHR) system. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety protocols. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program. Current certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) from a recognized certifying organization (e.g., AAMA, AMT). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare practices. Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
Previous experience working in a family practice or similar healthcare setting. Familiarity with medical software and technology.
