Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant/Aesthetician/Front Desk professional to join our healthcare team. This role involves providing exceptional patient service, supporting clinical operations, completing aesthetic procedures under a physician, phlebotomy and managing administrative tasks within a busy medical practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of medical terminology, patient care procedures, and electronic health record (EHR) systems, with experience in various medical settings including dermatology, hospital medicine, urgent care, and outpatient clinics. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where patient-centered care and efficient clinic operations are prioritized. A sales background is a bonus. Phelbotomy training is a requirement. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and manage check-in/check-out processes efficiently at the front desk Schedule appointments, confirm patient visits, and reschedule as needed Collect patient information, vital signs, and medical histories accurately Assist with patient intake procedures and ensure proper documentation in EHR systems Support clinical staff with procedures such as specimen collection, medication administration, and basic life support when necessary Maintain accurate ICD coding and documentation for billing purposes Prepare examination rooms, assist with basic diagnostic procedures and aesthetic procedures Manage phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and coordinate communication between patients and healthcare providers Completing phlebotomy for medical practice and aesthetics Uphold infection control protocols and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations Support administrative functions such as preparing paperwork, charts, accepting payment, keeping inventory and restocking Provide aesthetic knowledge and encourage retail sales and medspa packages Experience Prior experience in outpatient or inpatient medical settings such as dermatology, hospital medicine, urgent care, or Geriatrics is preferred Familiarity with EHR systems and medical administrative support is essential Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, ICD coding, and medical terminology is highly desirable Experience working in Level I or Level II trauma centers or emergency medicine environments is a plus Clinical experience involving intake procedures, vital signs collection, medication administration or aesthetic Background in hospital or clinic environments or OR experience will be considered favorably Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is preferred or will need to be completed prior to start date Sales background is a plus Phlebotomy training is a requirement This position offers an engaging opportunity to contribute to quality patient care within a supportive healthcare team. Pay:
Up to $26.00 per hour
