Job Description

Medical Assistant•Part-Time Lakeshore Women's Specialists | Mooresville, NC Join Our Growing Women's Health Team Lakeshore Women's Specialists is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our busy gynecology practice in Mooresville, NC. We are looking for a team player who enjoys providing excellent patient care, works well in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to supporting our providers and patients with professionalism and compassion. Position Details Part-Time Position Up to 32 hours per week Days and hours will vary based on the needs of the practice
Office Hours:
Monday•
Thursday:
8:00 AM•5:00
PM Friday:
8:00 AM•1:00 PM Responsibilities Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints Prepare patients for examinations and procedures Assist providers with in-office procedures Administer injections and medications as directed Collect and process specimens Document patient information accurately in the EMR Coordinate lab results, referrals, and follow-up care Maintain exam rooms and clinical supplies Provide exceptional customer service to patients Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality Assist with other clinical and administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications Required:
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) Current CPR/BLS Certification High School Diploma or GED Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
Preferred:
Experience in OB/GYN or Women's Health Experience with Athenahealth/Athena EMR (A plus) Venipuncture and injection experience Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and patient service skills Ideal Candidate Compassionate and patient-focused Reliable and detail-oriented Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment Professional and dependable Positive attitude with a strong team mentality Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk throughout the workday Ability to lift up to 30 pounds Ability to assist patients when necessary Work Location Mooresville, NC 28117 Job Type Part-Time (Up to 32 Hours Per Week) Pay $18.50•$22.50 per hour (based on experience) Medical Specialty GYN Only Practice Become part of a dedicated team committed to providing exceptional women's healthcare in a supportive and patient-centered environment.
