Minimum Requirements American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification HS graduate or equivalent required. One to two years of formal medical assistant/nurse aide training or six months current full time experience in a clinical setting as a Medical Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, or CNA preferred.
