The medical/clinical assistant works as part of the health care team by assisting the practice provider in providing high quality patient care in a professional manner. The ideal candidate will be energetic and able to remain focused in a busy atmosphere while delivering a high level of customer service. Job Description Escorting patients to exam rooms Assist provider with exams and procedures, administering medications, and performing tests. Assist patients with aftercare instructions Triage and process messages from patients, front office staff and providers. Clean and restock exam rooms Sterilize instruments Scribing for providers Qualifications Ability to maintain effective and organized systems to ensure timely patient flow The ability to perform phlebotomy Candidates must consent to, and pass a criminal background check and drug screen
Job Type Full-time:
Mon-Thurs:
7:45am-5:30pm, Fridays 7:45am-2:00pmExperience:
1-2 years' work experience as a nursing assistant or medical assistant (preferred, but not required) Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA, and OSHA regulationsEducation:
