Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Beach Primary Care & Wellness - Supply, NC Beach Primary Care & Wellness is a growing, prevention-focused primary care practice seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our team. We are looking for someone who enjoys building relationships with patients, works well in a team environment, and takes pride in delivering excellent care and customer service. ✨ Some experience preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Requirements:
✔ Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required ✔ Current CPR certification required ✔ Professional, reliable, and patient-focused ✔ Strong communication and organizational skills ✔ Comfortable with computers and electronic medical records (EHR) ✔ Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced office
Job Duties Include:
Rooming patients and obtaining vital signs Documenting patient history and updating medical records Medication reconciliation and pharmacy communication Assisting providers with exams, procedures, injections, EKGs, and point-of-care testing Performing phlebotomy/specimen collection (preferred) Managing patient phone calls, messages, and prescription refill requests Scheduling appointments and coordinating referrals Cleaning and stocking exam rooms and maintaining clinical supplies Prior authorizations, forms, and other administrative support duties Providing excellent patient education and customer service Assisting with preventive care and chronic disease management workflows

Pay:
$17.00 - $22.00 per hour
