The MA assists with patient intake, examinations, procedures, diagnostic testing, patient education, and office operations to ensure efficient and high-quality patient care. Clinical Responsibilities Prepare patients for examinations and procedures by obtaining vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints. Assist providers during gynecological examinations and minor office procedures. Set up and maintain examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper stocking of supplies. Collect and prepare laboratory specimens, including urine, blood, and cultures as directed. Perform basic laboratory testing and diagnostic procedures within scope of practice. Administer medications, injections, and immunizations as ordered by the provider and permitted by state regulations. Assist with patient education regarding medications, treatment plans, preventive care, and follow-up instructions. Document patient information accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. Prepare and sterilize instruments according to infection control standards. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations. Administrative Responsibilities Coordinate IUD or procedure appointments with the front office coordinators Answer text messages & phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and relay messages to providers. Process prescription refill requests according to office protocols. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation. Assist with inventory management and ordering medical supplies.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to provide compassionate and professional patient care. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism. Knowledge of infection control and patient safety practices. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
