Duties Assist with patient intake by collecting medical histories, vital signs, and updating electronic health records (EHR systems) accurately. Prepare patients for examinations or procedures by explaining processes and ensuring comfort. Support clinical staff with procedures such as medication administration, and basic life support (BLS) when necessary. Perform routine clinical tasks including measuring vital signs, and assisting with anatomy and physiology assessments. Ensure compliance with protocols by adhering to safety standards during intake procedures and medication administration. Collaborate effectively with providers to deliver patient-centered care in a clinic settings. Qualifications Certified Medical Assistant credential from an accredited program is required. Proven experience working in diverse healthcare environments such as hospital medicine, urgent care, outpatient clinics or medical-surgical units. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and emergency medicine protocols. Familiarity with EHR systems for documentation and patient management is essential. Ability to perform clinical duties including vital signs collection, medication administration, and basic life support certification. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service and compassionate care delivery. Ability to thrive in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail.
