Position Summary The CMA supports both clinical and administrative functions in a patient‑centered environment. Under supervision of providers, you will assist with patient care, therapies, lab work, and follow-up, while ensuring smooth clinic operations. Key Responsibilities Clinical Duties Room patients; record vital signs (BP, pulse, temperature, etc.) Obtain patient histories and chief complaints Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures Administer injections, vitamins, B12, etc. (as permitted) Perform point‑of‑care tests (e.g. glucometer, urinalysis) Conduct EKGs, allergy tests, or other diagnostics (depending on clinic) Sterilize and maintain instruments, maintain clean treatment rooms Educate patients on follow-up care, supplement protocols, lab prep Document all care accurately in the EHR Administrative / Operational Duties Handle telephone calls, prescription refill requests Order and stock medical supplies and supplements Manage inventory, restock treatment rooms Maintain charts, file records, ensure compliance Collaborate with team on workflow optimization Qualifications & Skills Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) required Valid
BLS / CPR
certification 4-5 years (or more) experience in outpatient clinic Proficiency in EHR systems, data entry, basic computer skills Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced environment Comfortable with injection / infusion protocols (if clinic requires) Detail-oriented, reliable, team player Compensation & Benefits Hourly pay (competitive, based on experience) Medical / dental / vision benefits Paid time off, holidays Employee discounts on clinic services / supplements
