Medical Assistant- Fremont and Omaha

Job description We are looking for Certified Medical Assistants (CMA) to join our fun and fast paced environment.

Job Duties:

Applicants must be willing work at any of the the MOD Locations based on clinic needs. Prepares patients for the health care visit by accompanying them to the exam room; collecting and documenting patient information, health history and purpose for visit or treatment; arranging exam room instruments, supplies, and equipment according to patient needs. Supports patient care delivery by helping health care providers during examinations; disposing of contaminated supplies; sterilizing medical instruments; sanitizing patient rooms; stocking and prepping exam rooms for evaluations; changing dressings. Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs. Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing professional standards, policies and procedures; complying with legal federal, state and local regulations. Maintains patient confidentiality and protects operations by keeping patient care information confidential. Scribing for the physician. Other duties as assigned.
