Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Medical Assistant/Certified Medical Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. This a podiatrist's office. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care and support clinical operations across various specialties, including dermatology, surgery assit, and checking in patients. Your expertise will help ensure smooth patient flow, accurate documentation, and efficient clinical procedures. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your skills directly impact patient outcomes and satisfaction. All roles are paid positions, emphasizing the value we place on your contributions. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with intake procedures to ensure a seamless check-in process Measure and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort throughout the visit Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks such as medication administration, wound care, X-ray procedures, and other medical issues when needed Document patient encounters thoroughly in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems using precise medical terminology and ICD coding for diagnoses Support the clinic by managing patient flow, updating charts, and coordinating care with interdisciplinary teams Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment while adhering to safety protocols. Qualifications Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential or equivalent certification required. Certified Nursing Assistant Experience in medical procedures preferred. Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and medication administration practices Familiarity with EHR systems and computer software for accurate documentation Experience working in the medical profession. Ability to perform clinical tasks including vital signs collection, specimen collection, X-ray assistance, and CPR certification is essential Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to diverse populations including geriatrics and disabilities Join us to be part of a passionate team committed to delivering outstanding patient care through professionalism and innovation. Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
