Medical Assistant Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team. The role involves rooming patients, documenting all vital information, and scribing information for the dermatologist. Additionally, the Medical Assistant will be responsible for cleaning and stocking the exam rooms and scheduling patient appointments. Responsibilities Room patients and document all vital information. Scribe information for the dermatologist. Clean and stock the exam rooms. Schedule patient appointments. Essential Skills Proficiency in medical assisting and patient care. Knowledge of medical terminology. Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems such as NextGen and EMA. Experience working within a healthcare setting. Additional Skills & Qualifications 1-2 years of recent experience in a medical office in a similar capacity is preferred. MA Certification is preferred. Work Environment The Medical Assistant will work in a specialty practice, gaining experience with two different EMR systems. The dress code requires solid color scrubs, any color except specified exclusions. Typically, there is a one-hour break around lunchtime, adjusted based on clinic flow. Work will be conducted at a provider's location. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Exeter, NH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
