About Us We are a busy, two-provider OB/GYN practice in Peterborough, NH, proudly serving our community since 1973. We are excited to add to our growing team! Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our Obstetrics and Gynecology (OBGYN) practice. The ideal candidate will support patient care, assist with clinical procedures, and ensure smooth clinic operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, providing essential support to both patients and healthcare providers. Candidates with experience in outpatient settings, clinic operations, or hospital medicine are encouraged to apply. A strong foundation in medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and patient service is essential for success in this role. Responsibilities Assist with patient intake, including gathering medical histories and updating records Measure and record vital signs Prepare patients for examinations and procedures in accordance with clinical protocols Support physicians during examinations, minor procedures, and treatments Administer injections as directed by healthcare providers Operate EHR systems efficiently to document patient information accurately Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment adhering to infection control standards Support laboratory procedures including specimen collection and processing if required Clerical duties, including answering phone calls, and patient questions in a timely manner Qualifications High School Diploma required
CMA, LNA
license or prior Medical Assistant experience preferred Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Computer proficiency and strong keyboarding skills Detail-oriented and a team player Flexible and adaptable to a fast-paced, evolving environment Prior phlebotomy experience preferred, but not required Physical Requirements Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time Ability to multitask and assist providers in a busy clinic setting Why Join Our Team?
