Your expertise will contribute to delivering high-quality healthcare services in outpatient clinics, hospital environments, and specialized units such as emergency departments or inpatient wards. All roles are compensated, recognizing the importance of your contributions from day one. Responsibilities Assist with patient intake by collecting comprehensive medical histories and documenting symptoms accurately. Perform vital signs measurements, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, temperature, and oxygen saturation levels. Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort throughout clinical visits. Support clinical procedures such as medication administration, wound dressing changes, and basic X-ray operations under supervision. Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to document patient information, update charts, and manage medical records efficiently. Coordinate with physicians and specialists in diverse fields including dermatology, internal medicine, emergency medicine, geriatrics, and medical-surgical units. Assist with ICD coding for diagnoses to facilitate accurate billing and insurance processing while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. Support hospital medicine teams in inpatient settings or Level I/II trauma centers by providing vital assistance during emergencies or complex procedures. Manage laboratory tasks such as specimen collection and processing for tests related to physiology, anatomy, or other diagnostic needs. Ensure adherence to safety protocols including Basic Life Support (BLS), medication administration standards, and infection control practices. Skills Proven experience working in outpatient clinics or hospital environments with a focus on patient service excellence. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and emergency medicine procedures. Experience with X-ray equipment operation and interpretation is highly desirable. Familiarity with ICD coding systems and medical billing processes to support administrative accuracy. Ability to perform intake assessments, vital signs collection, and basic medication administration confidently. Hospital experience within Level I or Level II trauma centers is preferred; experience in PICU or OR settings is a plus. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across specialties such as dermatology, internal medicine, urgent care, geriatrics, or medical-surgical units. Knowledge of electronic health record systems (EHR) for documentation and data management. Ability to handle fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail during patient care activities. Demonstrated commitment to patient safety through adherence to protocols like BLS certification and infection control standards.
