Job Description

ECLC of NJ Pride Day Program is a premier day habilitation center dedicated to providing comprehensive support and care for individuals 21+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Health Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our participants by providing medical assistance and support as part of our interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
Provide basic first aid and emergency care as needed. Assist participants with their medical needs as directed by program nurse. Administer medication according to prescribed dosages and schedules. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for each participant. Collaborate with other team members to ensure the overall well-being and safety of participants
Qualifications:
Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) from an accredited program preferred. Previous experience with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred. Knowledge of basic medical terminology. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to interact effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Compassionate and person-centered approach to care.
