Reports to Team Lead Private, high volume, and fast-paced Orthopedic Practice is expanding to Hudson County and is looking to hire a friendly, outgoing Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
Job Duties:
Performs medical assistant procedures under the supervision of a physician or physician assistant. Take patient vitals and assist in examinations. Gives instructions to patients as instructed by a physician. Fit patients with splints and other DME devices Take telephone messages and provide feedback and answers to patient/physician/pharmacy calls. Triage and process physician messages Keep medical records in accordance with procedures and forms. Follow principles of medical ethics for medical assistants. Keeps rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies, gowns/shorts, washes and dries instruments used, and prepares sterilization as required. Initiate pre-operative paperwork. Performs other duties as assigned. Flexibility in schedule a must. EMR - Epic experience a plus Bilingual a plus
