Job Description

With our dedicated team of Neurosurgeons, Interventional Pain Management Specialists, Orthopedists, Psychiatrists, Physical Therapists, and Chiropractors, we pride ourselves on specializing in continuity of care for our patients. We are excited to add Vascular to our growing list of specialties. Redefine Healthcare is looking for a dedicated, part-time Certified Medical Assistant to join our expanding team of healthcare professionals in our Marlton Office. The Certified Medical Assistant will support patient care by documenting patient histories, assisting with in-office procedures, and responding to patient inquiries. They will also manage order entries, ePrescribing, and other administrative tasks, working closely with healthcare providers in a multi-specialty setting. We are looking for candidates that are motivated, compassionate and are looking to advance their career in a community that is always growing.
Job Title:
Certified Medical Assistant Pay Rate :
$21-25/hour depending on specialty and experience
Hours:
less than 30 hours per week
Job Type :
Part-time Job Title Duties (not limited to): Preparation of documentation required for patient appointments. Use of EHR (documenting patient history, vitals, test results, exam findings, plans as instructed by provider). Order entry and submission (ePrescribing, labs and imaging studies, interventional procedures, etc.) Assist with in-office injections. Assist with casting, splinting, suturing. Respond to patient calls and inquiries. Respond to pharmacy refill inquiries. Any and all other tasks as directed by providers.
Minimum Level of Education or Experience Required:
Certified Medical Assistant with a minimum of 2 years' experience. Solid working knowledge of EHR systems; Athena knowledge a plus. Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to work in a team setting.
