The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting providers with patient care, maintaining accurate medical records, and ensuring efficient office operations while delivering excellent customer service. Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Assistant/Receptionist, where your energy and dedication will directly impact patient care and clinic efficiency. This paid position offers a unique opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-paced, patient-centered setting, combining medical knowledge with outstanding customer service. Duties Room patients and obtain vital signs Document patient history and chief complaints Prepare examination rooms and maintain cleanliness Assist providers during examinations and procedures Administer injections, vaccines, and perform EKGs (if certified and permitted) Perform point-of-care testing as needed Process prescription refill requests Update and maintain electronic medical records (eClinicalWorks experience preferred) Educate patients regarding medications, referrals, and follow-up care Coordinate laboratory testing and specialist referrals Answer patient questions and assist with patient flow throughout the day Ensure compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Medical Assistant experience in a physician office Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Professional and friendly demeanor
Preferred:
