Monday•Friday | 8:30 AM•5:00 PM | 40 Hours/Week Position Overview A leading healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant to support a busy outpatient cardiovascular clinic. This role requires a strong combination of clinical and clerical skills, excellent patient communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced physician practice environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare exam and treatment rooms, supplies, and medical instruments Room patients and assist providers during examinations and procedures Obtain and accurately document vital signs in EMR systems Perform EKGs, Holter Monitor setup, Event Monitor setup, and patient triage calls Assist with patient intake, chart preparation, and clinical documentation Support physicians with patient care coordination and procedures Maintain accurate patient records and ensure documentation compliance Perform administrative and front-office support duties as needed Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain patient confidentiality Deliver high-quality patient care and customer service Qualifications 2-4 years of recent Medical Assistant experience required Experience with vital signs, triage calls, EKGs, Holter Monitors, Event Monitors, and assisting physicians required High School Diploma or GED required Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred Strong computer, EMR, and data entry skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Required Certifications Current AHA BLS Certification required One of the following certifications required: CMA (NHA) CMA (NCCT) CMA (AAMA) RMA (AMT) RMA (NAHP)
