  • 5:00 PM Position Overview We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to provide clinical and administrative support within a busy outpatient physician practice.
The ideal candidate will have strong patient care skills, experience performing EKGs and cardiovascular monitoring procedures, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Medical Assistant Certificate required. Current AHA BLS Certification required. Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred. Experience obtaining and documenting patient vital signs. Experience triaging patient calls and coordinating patient concerns. Experience performing EKGs. Experience applying and monitoring Holter Monitors. Experience managing Event Monitors. Experience assisting physicians during examinations and procedures. Strong communication, organizational, and patient service skills. Responsibilities Prepare examination rooms, treatment rooms, supplies, and equipment. Prepare patients for physician examinations and procedures. Obtain and document patient vital signs and medical histories. Perform EKGs and assist with cardiovascular diagnostic testing. Apply and monitor Holter Monitors and Event Monitors. Perform phlebotomy and laboratory procedures as required. Assist physicians during examinations, treatments, and procedures. Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation. Utilize electronic medical records and office systems efficiently. Support administrative office functions as needed. Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality. Maintain clinical equipment and supply inventory. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care.
