Medical Assistant Gap Year Opportunity

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated pre med/pre PA applicant with 1-2 Gap years between undergraduate and graduate school. One-on-one assignment with a dermatologist or plastic surgeon Responsible for inputting/obtaining patient data and transcribing visit details Assisting in various procedures including surgical excisions, biopsies, IPL treatments, Botox and fillers, etc Opportunities to learn interpreting of pathology results and to coordinate patient care Answering phones/scheduling appointments

Job Requirements:

Minimum education: Bachelors degree Ease with computers and ipads Strong verbal and written communication skills. Attention to details Strong customer service skills Willingness/desire to learn clinical medicine on a steep learning curve Ability to take in and process information quickly Multitasking in a fast paced environment
