Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant / Front Desk professional to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in medical administrative support and patient care, with experience in various clinical settings such as dermatology, hospital medicine, urgent care, and outpatient clinics. This role involves managing front desk operations, assisting with clinical tasks, and ensuring a seamless patient experience through efficient communication and support. Duties Greet patients warmly, verify insurance information, and assist with patient intake procedures. Obtain vital signs, update medical histories, and prepare patients for examinations or procedures. Maintain accurate electronic health record (EHR) documentation, including ICD coding and physiology-related notes. Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and coordinate follow-up visits within outpatient or inpatient settings. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of clinical areas while adhering to safety protocols in hospital or trauma center environments. Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions, explaining procedures, and ensuring comfort throughout visits. Experience Candidates should have prior experience working in medical environments such as endocrine practice and outpatient practices. Familiarity with EHR systems, ICD coding, anatomy knowledge, and medical terminology is essential. Additional qualifications include certification in basic life support (BLS), experience with X-ray procedures, medication administration skills, and knowledge of inpatient care protocols. Candidates with clinic experience in internal medicine or urgent care environments will find this role particularly aligned with their expertise. Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
