Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant
  • Physician Services for an exciting Travel or Local job in Paramus, NJ.
Responsibilities Prepare exam and treatment rooms, ensuring proper supplies and sterilization. Assist physicians and nursing staff during patient examinations and procedures. Obtain and record patient vital signs in the medical record. Perform EKG, phlebotomy, pulmonary function testing (PFT), audiometry, and Titmus testing. Perform UDS and BAT after competency validation. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems. Support patient flow and ensure efficient clinical operations. Assist with office administrative tasks, including records management and billing support. Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA). Current BLS certification (AHA). Strong knowledge of EMR systems and medical terminology. Phlebotomy experience required. Knowledge of infection control and sterilization procedures. Preferred Qualifications Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred. Experience delivering age-appropriate and culturally competent patient care.
