Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our office. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care and medical administrative support. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient service, assisting healthcare professionals, and ensuring the smooth operation of clinical activities. Responsibilities Perform patient intake procedures, including obtaining medical histories and vital signs to ensure accurate patient assessments. Conduct routine laboratory tests as needed, adhering to safety protocols. Provide medical administrative support by scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling billing inquiries. Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical areas while adhering to health regulations and safety standards. Stay updated on medical terminology, ICD coding, and best practices in medicine to enhance patient care. Requirements Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role within healthcare settings such as clinics or hospitals. Familiarity with EMR systems and proficiency in managing electronic documentation effectively. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with patients and healthcare staff.
