Our team of dedicated professionals is committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care across multiple office locations. We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team. What we do At the NJCI, we specialize in providing high-quality cardiovascular care across multiple locations in New Jersey. Our team works collaboratively to ensure early detection, accurate diagnosis, and effective treatment of heart conditions. From conducting essential diagnostic procedures like EKGs and Holter monitoring to managing ongoing care through phlebotomy and routine vitals, we deliver patient-centered services in a compassionate and professional environment. Our offices also provide administrative support including scheduling and patient communications, ensuring a smooth experience from start to finish. What we are looking for The Medical Assistant will support our clinical and administrative teams by performing essential patient care duties, including diagnostic testing and front desk responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be reliable, organized, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team across multiple office locations. Travel to other office locations is required (travel reimbursement will be provided) . Responsibilities Perform and assist with EKGs and Holter monitor placements Conduct phlebotomy and collect blood samples for lab processing Obtain and record patient vitals and medical history accurately Prepare exam rooms and assist physicians as needed during patient evaluations Greet patients and answer incoming phone calls in a professional manner. Schedule patient appointments and manage follow-ups. Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records. Support front desk operations, including patient check-in/check-out and insurance verification
Required:
Degree in medical assistance Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) or Clinical Medical Assistant (CMA)
EKG:
1 year
Microsoft Office and Google Workplace:
1 year High Levels of communication
