Certified Medical Assistant

Busy Dermatology Practice in Washington Township has 1 opening for a Full Time general dermatology medical assistant up to 40 hours a week. The ideal candidate is caring, energetic and dependable, must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional and positive attitude. Applicant must have a strong work ethic, be a team player, and be committed to outstanding patient care. Dermatology/ Surgical experience preferred.

Possible Hours are:

Monday 7:20 am-5:30pm, Tuesday 7:20am to 6:15pm, Wednesday 7:20am-530pm, Thursday 730am-530 pm, Fridays 7:20 am-2:30pm.

Duties include:

Greeting and rooming patient, taking patient history, scribing, preparing exam rooms and patients for procedure, setting up for surgery, excisions, suture removals, wound care, and bandages changes. Entering all info in the EHR program. The candidate will assist the Provider during office visits, biopies, scribe for provider, explaining prescriptions and wound care instructions, etc.. Assistants are responsible for stocking and cleaning exam rooms, patient call backs, refill requests, instrument sterilization, Etc.
