Job Description

NEW Privately owned Dermatology Practice is growing! If you are an experienced Dermatology Medical Assistant and are seeking a position where your talents, teamwork and organizational skills will be recognized and valued, we are looking for you! This is a Full-time position in a gorgeous state-of-the-art-office Our privately owned single provider practice offers Medical, Cosmetic and Surgical Dermatology including Mohs. We are seeking an energetic team-oriented individual to work directly with the leadership to start building an amazing practice! This position will be responsible for: Rooming patients- documenting medical histories and chief complaints into the EMR (EZ Derm) via IPAD Assisting at the front desk from time to time for phone calls and covering for check in/ out duties Directly assisting the provider with all aspects of dermatology care including biopsies, excisions, cryo-therapy, sutures, suture removals, general office visits, laser therapies, injections, cosmetics, wound care and Mohs surgery Accurately and completely scribing all notes during the visit for provider in EMR Initially organizing nurses station, exam rooms, lab; working with practice leadership in setting processes and protocols for clinical flow Leading clinical training as new staff are hired. Providing educational assistance, pharmacy needs and communications for test and lab results Sterilizing instruments, maintaining an organized workspace Scheduling patients as needed for follow up appointments in conjunction with the Medical Receptionist This position will be cross trained to assist with some front office duties such as check-in and appointment scheduling as we launch. Required Experience 2+ years working with hands-on patient care, those without this experience will not be considered. 2 + years working with an Electronic Medical Record 2+ years scribing while assisting provider during the visit 2+ years obtaining prior auths, biologics, and managing ipledge programs Strong understanding of Dermatology terminology, medications, procedures, and treatments Mohs experience a plus Strong multi-tasking and ability to prioritize needs and situations throughout the day Leadership qualities, high level of organizational abilities, team player, exceptional customer experience, and a self-starter mentality is required We offer an outstanding working environment, exceptional salary, paid time off, paid sick time, free parking and generous cosmetic services allowance. Pay:
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
