Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

Essential Functions:

The CMA will manage patient flow, room patients, perform vital signs, conduct patient intake, maintain supply inventory, register and schedule in a practice management system, and perform other duties typical of a CMA in a physician practice. Perform EKG Check INR's Support front desk operations, with answering phone calls,scheduling appointments, scanning and assist with obtaining prior authorizations

Qualifications Education:

HS Diploma Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Medical Assistant program preferred

Qualifications/Requirements:

Medical Assistant certification through AAMA, AMCA, AMT, NCCT, or NHA required Prior physician practice experience strongly preferred Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate physician schedule Prior administrative experience in a physician practice desired Working knowledge of an EMR system (EPIC) preferred Prior authorization experience Excellent customer service skills, ability to exercise discretion and ensure patient privacy Ability to adapt to fast paced cardiology office, anticipating provider needs and deliver efficient patient centered care in high volume environments Edit job
