We are looking for a reliable, skilled Medical Assistant who can handle both clinical and administrative responsibilities with professionalism and excellent patient communication.

Position:

Medical Assistant (Full-Time)

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM•4:30

PM Hours:

40 hours per week

Compensation:

$23•26 per hour , depending on experience

Required Experience:

Bilingual•Spanish & English (required) Prior Authorization experience Procedure competency (injections, vitals, EKG, assisting provider, etc.) Medical office experience (3+ year preferred)

Tech-savvy:

Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel Outlook General computer skills Ease with AI tools for office workflow Ability to multitask in a busy clinical environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities Clinical Duties:

Rooming patients, taking vitals, updating medical histories Assisting in procedures and preparing treatment rooms Giving injections and performing diagnostic support as trained Managing clinical workflows to keep the provider on schedule Handling specimen labeling and basic lab coordination Ensuring compliance with HIPAA and office safety standards

Administrative Duties:

Checking patients in/out Answering phones, messaging patients, and handling portal communications Scheduling appointments, follow-ups, referrals Prior authorizations (specialty meds, imaging, labs, etc.) Managing medical records, scanning, forms, and documentation Communicating professionally with insurers, pharmacies, and other providers Using EMR for charting, orders, tasks, in-basket communication Supporting daily tasks as needed to optimize clinical flow Benefits 15 days PTO (vacation, sick, holidays combined) Medical, dental & vision insurance 401(k) retirement program and employer matching Paid training Free parking Employee discounts on clinic services Positive, mission-driven work environment Ideal Candidate You're organized, dependable, patient-focused, and able to work in a fast-paced office with a high standard of care.
