Duties Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations by preparing exam rooms and gathering necessary supplies Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and other relevant patient information accurately Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and understanding of the process Collect lab specimens, perform basic diagnostic tests, and ensure proper documentation of results Administer injections, medications, or treatments as directed by physicians following safety protocols Manage patient flow efficiently by scheduling appointments and coordinating follow-up care Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical areas, adhering to infection control standards Skills Certified Medical Assistant credential from an accredited program or institution Strong knowledge of medical terminology, clinical procedures, and healthcare protocols Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, providers, and team members Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to providing outstanding patient care Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic computer skills Ability to follow safety guidelines rigorously and handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality Embark on a rewarding career where your dedication makes a real difference!
