Job Description
The Medical Assistant provides clinical and administrative support to healthcare providers to ensure efficient operations and quality patient care within the clinic setting. Responsibilities include obtaining vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, documenting medical information in the electronic health record, scheduling appointments, assisting with procedures, coordinating patient care, and maintaining accurate records. The Medical Assistant supports a safe, organized, and professional environment while promoting compassionate, patient-centered care. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and adherence to confidentiality and HIPAA standards. Experience working within medical, behavioral health, or substance use treatment settings is preferred.
