Job Description

Scribe - Cardiology Clinic - Fulltime If you're looking for a place to call home and grow, Three Crosses Regional Hospital is looking for you! We are looking for a Scribe that is committed to clinical excellence and building a patient-centered culture. Duties/Responsibilities:
Enter the exam room with the provider during patient visit to capture and transcribe medical record documentation utilizing electronic medical record applications. Ensures medical record compliance by self-documentation attestation. Updates patient history, physical exam, and other pertinent health information in patient record. Prepares and sends all documentation to provider for review and approval via authentication of detailed data and facility-specific procedures. Taking notes during patient visits and documenting them in the electronic health records system Work directly with provider to ensure accuracy of patient visit. Consultation with the care team and other providers on patient needs Communicating with patients and providers professionally Completing all administrative tasks timely and efficiently Send prescriptions authorized by the provider. Send out office notes to primary care provider and other care team providers. Reviews providers' schedules within clinic and hospital Placing orders for next visit Attends staff meetings as needed. Other job duties as assigned
Education and Experience Required:
High School Diploma or GED, bachelor's preferred Preferred - 1 year experience as Scribe in healthcare environment. Preferred -
Medical Assistant Experience Licenses and Certifications Required:
BLS Preferred:
ACLS certifications
