Job Description

Join EANM as a Patient Services Representative Trainee (PSR Trainee) and become the welcoming face and organizational backbone of our clinics. In this essential, patient-facing role, you ll be cross-trained to support both check-in and check-out functions while learning to navigate systems such as NextGen and Phreesia. You ll play a critical role in scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and patient financial interactions-helping ensure a smooth, accurate, and compassionate experience for every patient we serve. Eye Associates What You'll Do:
Schedule, reschedule, and coordinate patient appointments using NextGen and Phreesia Register new and established patients, verify demographics and insurance, and obtain referrals and prior authorizations Check patients in and out, collect copays and balances, and follow cash drawer and batching protocols Communicate with patients regarding appointments, delays, billing questions, and follow-up needs Coordinate with clinical teams to support patient flow and provider schedules Maintain accurate documentation, process referrals, manage task inboxes, and support clinic operations What We re
Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent required Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and adapt to changing workflows and technology Comfort learning insurance plans, medical terminology, and clinic systems Strong attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork skills Willingness to complete all required training and work rotating Saturdays and holidays
