Certified Medical Assistant - Primary Care

Medical Assistant needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's employer-based medical group client located in Elko, NV. Potential for temp-to-hire for the right fit! Assist with front and back office responsibilities at a clinic that provides occupational and primary care services for employees and their families of all ages (newborn and up). This medical group delivers primary care, mental health, labs, and occupational health with a strong focus on long-term wellness. -- >

SHIFTS:

Monday-Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm and 1-2 weekends per month, Saturday/Sunday 8am to 2pm

Top Skills You Should Possess:

Registered or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA) or at minimum, Medical Assistant Certificate/Diploma accompanied with transcripts and proof of externship Positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, and must be a team player Looking for a responsible, friendly, and helpful employee Confident with front and back office duties

What You'll Be Doing:

Room patients and vitals Prepare treatment rooms, clean, and sterilize instruments POC testing and immunizations/injections Assist with medical testing such as: blood glucose, blood pressure, cholesterol, respiratory treatments, and urine collection/testing Maintain employee health records (using EPIC) Medication administration including injections, performing laboratory tests, and operate EKGs and other diagnostic equipment Perform front office responsibilities: answer phones, schedule appointments, follow-up calls, order medical supplies, etc. Support the Nurses and providers with all aspects of the clinic What You Need to Bring to the
