Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care in a primary care setting. This position requires strong patient service skills, a solid understanding of medical terminology, and the ability to provide compassionate care to diverse patient populations, including geriatrics. Responsibilities Front office skills also such as answering phones, taking accurate messages, call backs Assist healthcare provider with patient examinations and procedures. Perform routine clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and documenting medical histories, EKG, spirometry, body composition analysis. Administer medications and injections as directed by physician. Maintain accurate patient records Perform urine dips and ear lavage Phlebotomy skills are a plus Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program is required Excellent patient service skills with an emphasis on compassion Capability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities.
