- Full-time About us Coronado Health is a physician-led Direct Primary Care practice in Henderson, NV.
We don't bill insurance. Instead, our patients pay a simple monthly membership, which means longer visits, a smaller panel, real continuity of care, and time to actually know the people we treat. Our focus areas include internal medicine, preventive care, and obesity/metabolic medicine. We're a small, close-knit team, so the right person is someone who takes pride in their clinical skills and genuinely enjoys building relationships with patients over time. Why this role is different If you've worked in a high-volume, insurance-based clinic and felt rushed off your feet, this is the opposite. In a DPC model, you're not racing the clock or fighting prior authorizations all day. You'll have time to do things well, follow up with patients you recognize by name, and be a true partner in their care. We're looking for someone who's excited by that difference. What you'll do Room patients, take vitals, and document accurately in the EMR Perform blood draws/phlebotomy, injections, EKGs, and point-of-care testing Administer and help manage injectable therapies, including weight-management and metabolic treatments Assist the physician with in-office procedures and exams Respond to patient messages, refill requests, and follow-up calls with warmth and professionalism Coordinate labs, imaging, referrals, and results follow-up Manage clinical inventory, supplies, and room turnover Help create the kind of concierge-level patient experience our members expect What we're looking for Active CMA certification (AAMA, CCMA/NHA, RMA/AMT, or equivalent) — required 1-2 years of clinical medical assistant experience Direct Primary Care or concierge primary care experience strongly preferred Confident with injections, and EKGs Comfortable and proficient with an EMR Excellent communication and a patient-first, service-minded attitude Reliable, organized, and able to wear multiple hats in a small practice Certified in phlebotomy is a plus What we offer Competitive hourly pay
