Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Medical Assistant/Receptionist to join our healthcare team. This vital role combines front-office administrative support with clinical responsibilities, ensuring a seamless experience for patients and providers alike. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. You will be the first point of contact for patients, managing appointments, intake processes, and medical documentation while assisting with clinical tasks such as vital signs, basic procedures, and medical record updates. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help foster a welcoming environment that promotes health and well-being. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and facilitate smooth check-in and check-out processes Schedule appointments efficiently while managing patient flow to minimize wait times Collect patient histories, update electronic health record (EHR) systems accurately, and document medical information clearly Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration; prepare patients for examinations or procedures Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks including medication administration, specimen collection. Support medical documentation by coding diagnoses using ICD codes and maintaining precise records of patient interactions Handle administrative duties such as answering phones, managing patient inquiries, processing insurance information, and coordinating referrals or follow-up visits , collecting co-pays and deductibles. Requirements Proven experience in outpatient clinical settings Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and emergency medicine protocols including Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and familiarity with ICD coding practices Ability to perform clinical tasks such as vital signs measurement, medication administration Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and patient care processes Excellent communication skills to provide outstanding patient service in fast-paced outpatient settings Tele-Health experience preferred Join us to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives by providing compassionate care combined with efficient administrative support.
