This role is essential in providing high-quality patient care in both outpatient and inpatient settings. The ideal candidate will possess strong patient service skills and have experience working in a Level II Trauma Center. As a Medical Assistant, you will support healthcare providers in delivering efficient medical services while ensuring a positive experience for patients. Duties

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Administer medications as directed by physicians and ensure proper documentation.
• Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling billing inquiries.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the medical team.
• Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining medical histories and explaining procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the medical office or clinic environment.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including Basic Life Support (BLS) practices.
• Support surgical teams in the Operating Room (OR) as needed. Experience
• Previous experience in a medical assistant role is preferred, particularly in hospital medicine or trauma care environments.
• Familiarity with medication administration processes and medical administrative systems is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while demonstrating excellent patient service skills.
• Knowledge of outpatient care practices is beneficial.
