In this vital role, you will support physicians and healthcare providers by performing clinical and administrative tasks that ensure smooth operations within our outpatient center, you'll be at the forefront of delivering compassionate, high-quality medical services. Duties Assist with patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories and verifying insurance information Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates with precision Prepare patients for examinations and procedures by explaining processes and ensuring comfort Support physicians during examinations, treatments, and minor procedures, including medication administration when applicable Maintain accurate documentation using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, including ICD coding for diagnoses and procedures Conduct basic physiology and anatomy assessments to support diagnosis and treatment planning Manage medical supplies inventory, sterilize equipment, and ensure a clean clinical environment in compliance with safety standards Help with phone calls and coverage where needed Skills Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and ICD coding practices Experience working in a medical office for at least 1 year Proficiency with EHR systems for documentation and patient data management Ability to perform clinical tasks including medication administration, X-ray assistance, vital signs measurement, and patient intake processes Familiarity with inpatient and outpatient workflows across various specialties like Geriatrics, Medical-surgical units, Internal Medicine, or OR settings Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to diverse populations Join us to be part of a dedicated healthcare team committed to excellence!
