Job Description

Medical Assistant - Full Time
BILINGUAL SPANISH/ENGLISH SPEAKING
Reno, NV Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM | $22-$25/hour (Based on experience) We are a busy, privately owned family practice seeking a friendly, dependable, and professional Medical Assistant to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate is highly organized, punctual, and thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Responsibilities:
Greet and room patients, take vitals, and assist with exams and procedures Administer injections and vaccinations Collect and prepare lab specimens Perform EKGs and basic in-office testing Handle prior authorizations and referrals Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the EMR system Support physicians and fellow staff in delivering excellent patient care
Qualifications:
Medical Assistant certification preferred At least 1 year of experience in a medical office setting strongly preferred Strong communication and multitasking skills Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure EMR experience is a plus
