This position offers an exciting opportunity to support nuclear medicine procedures, assist with patient intake, and ensure smooth clinical operations. You will work closely with physicians, technologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide compassionate, efficient service that enhances patient outcomes. Responsibilities Assist with patient intake, including collecting medical histories Prepare patients for nuclear medicine procedures by explaining processes and ensuring comfort Measure and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration Support radiology staff with procedures and related imaging tasks as needed. Maintain accurate documentation within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, including ICD coding and medication administration logs Monitor patient safety during procedures, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and basic life support guidelines Manage medical supplies, prepare exam rooms, and assist with clinical sterilization and equipment maintenance Provide excellent patient service by addressing questions, offering reassurance, and ensuring a positive experience Skills Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to nuclear medicine and inpatient/outpatient care Experience in hospital medicine, urgent care, or emergency medicine settings; Level I or Level II trauma center experience is highly valued Familiarity with cardiology and EKGs. Able to complete treadmill stress test. Proficiency in using EHR systems for documentation; familiarity with ICD coding is a plus Ability to perform intake assessments, vital signs collection, and basic medication administration confidently Knowledge of EKGs and Cardiac testing procedures and emergency response protocols; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or obtainable upon hire Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to diverse populations across outpatient and inpatient settings This role is an excellent fit for proactive healthcare professionals passionate about making a difference.
