Medical Assistant (1 Year of Experience Required)

About us Growing Sleep medicine practice is looking for a full-time Medical Assistant to support provider operations and provide direct service to patients before, during and after visits. We are looking for a highly organized and flexible Medical Assistant committed to providing excellent patient support. The ideal candidate will be tech savvy with a strong attention to detail. There are opportunities for career growth and advancement with further training to become a Sleep coach.

Essential Functions:

• Obtain patient information prior to patient's appointment.
• Share appropriate educational materials as directed by physician . Pre-appointment chart prep
• Manage provider schedule . Complete post encounter orders
• Care coordination with the DME (Durable Medical Equipment) company and referring provider
• Assist patient in completing their pre appointment tasks when necessary
• Perform general office duties including but not limited to answering phones and completing patient registration.
