The ideal candidate for this position is someone who has prior experience in a physician's office practice rooming patients, scheduling colonoscopies and other outpatient procedures, proficient in working with an EMR as well as with administrative duties, medical records and patient intake.
Responsibilities:
Schedule colonoscopies and outpatient procedures for several providers. Be able to communicate effectively and professionally with medical providers and other surgery center staff. Be able to communicate with patients and caretakers in a compassionate and professional manner. Documentation of procedures in EMR and scheduling systems. Consistently work in a positive and cooperative manner with fellow team members. Must have excellent customer service skills and be able to work in a fast paced environment. Participates in office training activities. Is responsible for material coverd in handbooks, memos or inservices.
