Full Job Description Duties:
- Assist healthcare providers in delivering patient care
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Collect and prepare laboratory specimens for testing
- Conduct basic laboratory tests, such as urine dipsticks
- Cleaning and stocking rooms , Answer phones as necessary
- Assist with minor surgical procedures , scheduling surgeries
- Chart prep in EMR .
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a medical assistant training program or equivalent experience
- Certification as a medical assistant preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
