• 22/hour We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bilingual Medical Assistant (Spanish/English) to join a busy outpatient medical practice in Flushing, NY.

Responsibilities:

Room patients and assist providers during examinations and procedures Take vital signs, perform EKGs, and collect specimens Perform venipuncture/phlebotomy as needed Maintain accurate patient records using EMR systems Schedule appointments and assist with patient registration Verify insurance information and obtain referrals when required Prepare examination rooms and maintain medical supplies Follow infection control, HIPAA, and safety guidelines Handle medical records, forms, and other administrative duties

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of Medical Assistant experience in a medical office setting Bilingual in Spanish and English Medical Assistant Certificate from an accredited program Current AHA BLS Certification Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations Strong communication and customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Experience with EMR systems Phlebotomy experience Benefits information Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and paid sick time
